David Bowie came to Montreal's Vogue for a press interview while promoting Hours in 1999. Broadcaster Herby Moreau later recalled meeting his musical hero in a hotel room, a small backstage moment in the building's celebrity history. Now part of Hilton's Curio Collection, the Vogue pairs its Golden Square Mile address with softly curved interiors and spacious rooms with marble bathrooms. YAMA brings East-meets-West dining downstairs, while the boutiques of Sainte-Catherine Street and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts are close enough to explore on foot.
