The Peninsula Bangkok brings resort calm to the Chao Phraya, with river-facing rooms, Thai pavilions and a pool framed by tropical gardens. In early 2019, performance artist Kawita Vatanajyankur turned its lobby into a stage for KNIT, using her body as a human knitting machine during the Bangkok Art Biennale. Bangkok Post covered the live run, and the hotel later documented the completed performance and her residency. This was an artistic appearance, not a stay claim.
